To believe in the continuity of a mega project, even when adversity occurs globally, is to grow. Grow in convictions, in group work, in an unprecedented work that will incorporate more than 100 people into the labor market.
Grupo Motta believes and grows. The work in progress of Calisa 2, the new poultry processing plant that joins the industrial area of the group in Racedo, Entre Ríos, continues to advance. Recently, 8 containers arrived from Europe with the first equipment for poultry processing, in addition to the 9 containers received from Germany with the equipment corresponding to the storage tanks for fresh and frozen products.
The degree of progress of the work is in a 65%, while the installations of the refrigeration services continue, in an unprecedented work.
The new Calisa 2 plant will increase production capacity by 400%, marking a turning point for the future of Argentine poultry. A plant that will have the most efficient environmental management because, among numerous environmental measures, it will use liquid effluents for forest irrigation of 26,650 new trees that will be planted on 32 hectares located 3 km from the Calisa2 poultry processing plant.
There were many reasons that led Grupo Motta to make an investment of u$d 20 million in a new processing plant. Among the main ones: achieve sustained growth in production capacity, unify the mixed slaughter system, exceed quality standards and incorporate cutting-edge technology.
